The Samsung Galaxy Ace which is an Android v2.3 Gingerbread Smartphone. It has 3.5 inch capacitive touch screen. It is hopped up by a 800 MHz ARM11 processor which is quick enough to surf or browse web, download apps and have a chit chat with your friends.

It also contains a 5 MP camera with LED Flash for low light area and a 2x Digital Zoom lens.

Design

It has quite sharp design. Designing is nice having smooth round edges and can be easily wrapped with the fingers providing comfort in holding it. Having 3.5 inches TFT HVGA LCD screen that provide clear picture even in bright daylight but not most vivid as compared to higher Smartphone.

This Galaxy Ace with back cover looks stylish, pink with black stripes and white patterns giving it a lovely feel. There is textured black and a white cover also available. So do not need to worry if you abominate pink. The physical buttons present on the Smartphone are the volume rockers, power button and Menu, Home, Back buttons.

Storage & Battery

It is hopped up by a 1350 mAh battery that lasts for 11 hrs(660min) on 2G and 6.5(390 mins) hrs on 3G networks when in use. Samsung boats that its battery backup for 2G up to 640 hr and for 3G up to 420 Hr on standby mode. It has 158 MB of internal memory which can be expanded up to 32 GB via microSD card.

Connectivity & Features

Samsung has included some of its own apps, like social hub, Swype keyboard, Voice Search.

è Social hub is a one page layout of our phone book, IM, email, SMS. We just have to organize and organize our contact with respect to four different entities i.e. Info, Activity, History and Media We have to only sync up messages from different social media and even text messages so that you can access them at one place.

è Swype is an intelligent interface that connects dots made by our finger and figure it out that we actually we are trying to make. Move your finger across the keypad in cursive motion the cell is intelligent enough to sense what are you writing.

è Voice Search is the application with which you can query the cell rather than typing a query.

It has all other Android apps available or you can just download it and enjoy working on it smoothly.

Its Sound quality is also good. Speaker is quite loud and you will enjoy playing Mp3s and Videos on it.

You can’t get everything in a smartphone below Rs. 15K($300) but still if your budget holds the same you can go for it.
