Nokia Belle most likely to be released in February

Nokia has announced that Nokia Symbian OS is going to be upgraded to new version called Nokia Belle and its updates will also be available on older Nokia phones such as C7, C6-01, X7, E7, Oro and E6.

Here are some of the features of Nokia Belle OS.

     1)      It will sport redesigned widgets such as favorite contacts, calendar, clock, email, music players. It can be rearranged as your order need.  ‘Toggle’ widget will be there for changing settings and switching on Bluetooth. 

     2)      It will let users swap between live images very quickly showing better multitasking. 

     3)      Unlike Symbian, Belle will have six Home Screens. It will be an expansion from 3 to 6.

     4)      As it will be having 6 Home Screens so there will be a pull down menu for notifications like missed calls, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and settings from any Home Screens similar to Android and IOS 5.

     5)      The status bar will have more classy and flat look. There will be changes in the lockscreen too.

     6)      Belle will contain apps from Microsoft like EAS( Exchange Active Sync ), OneNote, PowerPoint Broadcaster, Lync and Sharepoint.

     7)      As NFC (Near Field Communications)  has been integrated with Belle, sharing pictures, connecting with accessories and check- in will be much more easier and that too with a single tap.
