Apple to buy Israel's Anobit firm

Apple Inc is going to buy Israel's Anobit, flash storage making technology at the cost of around $500 million. The Calcalist financial daily wrote that Apple is in negotiation with Anobit for buying cost between $400million and $500 million.
Anobit has developed a chip that increases the flash performance with the help of signal processing. This drives is already in use in Apple Devices such as MacBook Air, iPad and iPhones.
If this deal happens, it will be the largest acquisition in Apple’s history and the virgin deal in Israel and that too in hardware as usually apple buys software companies.
Apple is showing their interst in the new chip technology to double the memory capacity in their products such as iPads and MacBooks.

Cheers!!!
Ethan
