Aakash Tab at Rs1138 for Mumbai Students.

Mumbai College going students will be able to purchase the Aakash tab at a price of Rs 1,138 only but the market price of Aakash tab is Rs 2,500. This is a subsidized scheme for student.

Circulars have been issued to all affiliated colleges and departments for their requirements and the student might get an upgraded version which is going to be launched in February 2012. To get Aakash Tab at this rate a student should place an order with their colleges or departments. With this device student will be able to access online contents mentioned under HRD ministry for Grad and PG courses for free.
