The Samsung Galaxy Ace S5830 is built on the Froyo, Android 2.2, OS with the TouchWiz 3.0, found in other Galaxy S and Wave 2.
There are four main applications
1) Calling
2) Contacts
3) Messages
4) Menu
These are found at the bottom of
the screen
These are separated from other
application found at the top of these applications.
It has a helpful task manager widget which tells you what is still running in the background. This helps in making our battery life better by telling us the same.
Wi-Fi , Bluetooth(B/T), GPS, Silent Widgetsare the battery life protecting widget which we can switch off/on when required.
It has five Home screens, but there is a time lag when we swipe among them. This is because of 800 MHz processor. Processor Frequency matters Boss.
Also disappointments for gamers as there are four games pre-installed that blocks the space on the menu screen.
In a nutshell, the UI is quite compact and simple to use.
